It is craft fair season for me, and I love going and looking for Holiday decorations. This year I found this adorable Christmas tree with buffalo red plaid and galvanized metal.

Then I found some really cute red buffalo plaid coasters with a bear on them. So I got an idea to make some new throw pillow cover from some leftover red buffalo plaid fabric that I had leftover from my son’s birthday and use a black heat transfer of a bear to match the coasters.

Pillows completed. Next on to the heat transfer vinyl. I like to use this quick guide from myvinyldirect.com to pick the perfect temperature, how much pressure to apply and how long to apply it.
Before I apply the HTV, I put the throw pillow cover on the heat press and warm up the fabric for about 15 sec. Then I apply the HTV and apply heat for another 15 sec, remove the plastic film and voila! Pillowcase completed! Now repeat to your heart’s content.
