So I have said many times, that when I am sick, I should not be allowed to do ANYTHING! It’s best if my son is home sick with me. That way I lay in bed with my snuggle monster and we both sleep, instead of me running around doing other things.
Seriously, last time I was sick and was prednisone. One, I learned I don’t sleep when I’m on prednisone and I got a total of 6 hours of sleep in 3 days. Two, I decided to deep clean the carpet in my bedroom, office and living room…. and sadly after doing all of that I wasn’t tired enough to sleep.
This time when I was sick, I got a crazy idea to highlight my hair. Yep. My logic was that it is expensive and time consuming for me to go to a parlor and get my hair done (several hours) and I was home anyways… yes, I know my logic doesn’t add up, but it did at the time.

In all honesty, I may be crazy, but I love the results. Even though it took forever to do, I will probably do this again in 4+ months.
I only highlighted the sides and top of my face, I did not attempt the back.
I used the T-3 Featherweight 2 to dry my hair and the Furiden 2-in-1 flat iron and curling iron. I’ve used the T3 to dry my hair twice and it is awesome. The Furiden worked great to straighten my hair, and it did well curing my hair but i need a little more practice.
